Master’s Degree Programs for Certified Teachers

 

All New York State certified teachers are required to earn a master’s degree within five years of their initial certification. Hunter’s School of Education meets this need, offering numerous innovative programs designed for certified teachers. Flexibly designed with the working educator in mind, these programs will enable you to earn professional certification while enhancing your teaching skills through relevant coursework or additional clinical experiences. Undergraduates who are completing a bachelor’s degree program in education and are on track to earn initial certification upon graduation are encouraged to apply to one of the programs listed below.
