The Frankfort Center for Learning Technologies has been supporting video and educational technologies across the School of Education since 2008. Our expertise covers topics ranging from video observation to learning management systems and beyond.
Visit us at the Bobbie and Lew Frankfort Education Library on the 6th floor of the Cooperman Library on the main campus, room 613.
We coordinate with Classroom Technology Services for support with all School of Education classrooms and can troubleshoot any difficulties you may be having with technology in our rooms, especially connecting to projectors or displays and audio devices. For issues in our West and East building classrooms please contact Audio Visual at 212-772-4943 or visit room N333. For issues in our 6th floor classrooms in the Leon & Toby Cooperman Library please contact Dermot Foley at email@example.com.
We also support platforms specific to the School of Education – including Google Apps for Education, Digication, and Swivl Cloud.
We provide training and instruction for all of the aforementioned technologies and Eno boards, Smartboards, Swivl kits, video editing, and more. If you’re not sure whether or not we support or provide training for a particular technology don’t hesitate to ask!
Many programs require candidates to go through a process of video analysis of their teaching. Equipment for recording can be obtained from the A/V reserve desk on the 2nd floor of the Cooperman Library in the East Building, and in-person support for using Swivl kits happens at our 6th floor (E613) office space. Swivl also has an excellent FAQ and support center that you can reach by visiting support.swivl.com.
