Mathematics Development Advanced Certificate
Program Overview
This program is designed to provide elementary teachers with a deeper understanding of mathematics in elementary school curriculum
Coursework
Students complete a 3 or 4 semester sequence beginning in the Fall semester. Courses are offered in the afternoon and evening.

This program does not lead to NYS teacher certification.
Eligibility and Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended
- Statement of Purpose
- Resume
- Include relevant experiences as a teacher or teacher assistant in elementary or middle school
- Two letters of recommendation
