Mathematics and Technology Advanced Certificate

 

Program Overview

This program is designed help elementary teachers improve their understanding of mathematics and their classroom and to use quantitative tools in educational technology and robotics.

Coursework

Students complete a one-year sequence beginning in the Fall semester. Courses are offered in the afternoon and evening.

This program does not lead to NYS teacher certification.

Eligibility and Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Resume
    • Include relevant experiences as a teacher or teacher assistant in elementary or middle school
  • Two letters of recommendation
