The master’s program is designed for applicants without prior NYS teacher certification in Spanish 7-12.
Academic Plan: SPANAE-MA
Certification: This program leads to initial New York State certification to teach Spanish in grades 7-12.

Course Sequence and Program Tracker
Students complete a sequence of courses in both Education and Spanish. The course sequence and program trackers provide a suggested order of education courses for the program based on start date. Education courses are taken alongside Spanish courses. Students must consult with the faculty advisor to determine their individualized course of study before registering for classes.
