The master’s program is designed for applicants without prior NYS teacher certification in English 7-12.
Academic Plan: ENGAE-MA
Certification: This program leads to initial New York State certification to teach English in grades 7-12.

Course Sequence and Program Tracker
Students complete a sequence of courses in both Education and English. The course sequence and program trackers provide provide a suggested order of education courses for the program based on start date. Education courses are taken alongside English courses. Students must consult with the faculty advisor to determine their individualized course of study before registering for classes.
