The advanced certificate program is a post-master’s program for applicants without prior NYS teacher certification in Mathematics.
Academic Plan: MATAE-AC
Certification: This program leads to initial New York State certification to teach Mathematics in grades 7-12.

Course Sequence and Program Tracker
Students complete a sequence of courses in both Education and Mathematics. The course sequence and program trackers provide a suggested order of education courses for the program based on start date. Education courses are taken alongside Mathematics courses. Students must consult with the faculty advisor to determine their individualized course of study before registering for classes.
