New Graduate Student Orientation

Welcome to the graduate programs in the School of Education at Hunter College!
Please RSVP to attend our upcoming Spring 2020 New Graduate Student Orientation.
At the orientation you will find answers to many of your questions regarding registration, student life and certification. View the New Student Digital Handout here
Additionally, students in the following program will have the opportunity to attend a program breakout session to meet their program faculty and learn more about their area of study:
- All Adolescent Education programs including Special Education
- Bilingual Education Early Childhood, Childhood and Extensions
- Childhood Education
- Childhood Special Education
- Counseling Programs
- Early Childhood Education
- Educational Leadership
- Literacy
- Music
- TESOL
- Visual Arts
Students in the following programs will still benefit from the information shared in the general orientation, however, students will not have a program breakout as part of this orientation:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (online session 12/16)
- Blind or Visually Impaired (please contact your faculty advisor to make an appointment)
- Deaf & Hard of Hearing (please contact your faculty advisor to make an appointment)
- Early Childhood Development and Learning (online session)
- Gifted & Talented (please contact your faculty advisor to make an appointment)
- Music Education (please contact your faculty advisor to make an appointment)
- Severe/Multiple Disabilities Early Childhood, Childhood or Extension (please contact your faculty advisor to make an appointment)
