Applying for School Counseling Certification

Please join Valerie Lyons, certification and licensure advisor, from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) for a workshop that will cover all you need to know to apply for School Counseling certification in New York State

In this workshop, we will break down some common certification terminology, cover requirements for certification, review certification costs and show you how to apply for certification on the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) TEACH platform.

Prior to attending the session, please review the certification information for your program via the School of Education’s Certification and Licensure page. 

Everyone is free to join regardless of when you plan to graduate or apply for certification.

This session will be held online via Zoom.
