Anton Raskin

Doctoral Student
Anton Raskin is a dedicated math educator with a passion for student success. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from NYU-Poly, an M.A. in Adolescent Education in Mathematics from CUNY Hunter College, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education.
Raskin began his teaching career at Icahn Charter School 5 as a 5th grade teacher, followed by a move to HCZ Promise Academy 2, where he helped boost Geometry Regents pass rates to 90% and supported Algebra students in achieving a 100% pass rate. In 2018, he joined Port Chester High School, where his students excelled in AP Calculus BC and the Geometry Regents. Beyond academics, he founded a Ping-Pong Club and Chess Club, piloted a financial literacy curriculum and coached both boys and girls swim teams.
Outside the classroom, Raskin has worked as a private math and science tutor, a teaching assistant at NYU-Poly, and a mentor in competitive academic programs. His students have excelled, including winning the Innovention Competition. Additionally, he has a long history as a swim coach and instructor.
Passionate about fostering mathematical understanding, Raskin continues to shape young minds through rigorous instruction, innovative teaching, and community engagement.
