Nora McCormick

Administrative Advisor
Nora (she/her) is a Hunter College alumna and Licensed Social Worker who advises current graduate students on Administrative, Graduation, and Certification issues across a number of graduate programs in the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA). She conducts workshops for new and current students on orientation and certification and liaises with faculty, staff, and other departments to provide wraparound support and resources to roughly 500 students.
Prior to joining the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA), Nora worked as a program director in community-based organizations leading after-school programs and summer camps in New York City and Ivoryton, Connecticut. She has worked as an English Language teacher in South Korea, Spain, and remotely, to kids, teens and adults all over the world. She worked in the School of Education as a College Assistant for Childhood Education until she was promoted to her current position.
