Melissa Boronkas

Melissa M. Boronkas is the Assistant Dean for Student Success at the School of Education, where she has been a dedicated team member since July 2012. She previously served as the Director of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. Before joining Hunter College, Melissa led various after-school programs and summer camps at community-based organizations, showcasing her commitment to educational and youth development.

Melissa earned her Master’s in Urban Education from the CUNY Graduate Center. In her current role, she directs the Office of Academic & Student Affairs and collaborates closely with faculty, program leaders, department staff, and offices within Hunter College to address a wide range of student-related issues.
