MaryAnn Celis

MaryAnn recently joined the School of Education in 2022. Prior to joining, MaryAnn worked for the Mellon Mays Graduate Initiatives Program at the Social Science Research Council, which aims to address the problem of underrepresentation in the professoriate. MaryAnn began her career in education while teaching in Japan and has also worked in various nonprofits focused on international education, community outreach, and grassroots efforts. She holds a Master’s degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s from Rutgers University.
