Background

Dr. Kendall Kastner completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Unviersity of Nebraska Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Tara Fahmie, her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis at Marquette University under the advisement of Dr. Stepahnie Hood, and her M.S. in Behavior Analysis at Marquette University under the advisement of Dr. Jeffrey Tiger. Kendall has worked in the field of behavior analysis for over 10 years. She has published and presented her work in several peer-reviewed journals and at local, national, and international conferences. Kendall has served as a guest reviewer for several journals including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice, and Education and Treatment of Children.

Research

Kendall’s research centers on the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, as well as foundational evaluations of behavior-analytic practices. Her work spans both applied and translational methodologies and has been published in journals, including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice, Behavior Modification, and the Journal of Education and Treatment of Children, in addition to a book chapter contribution. Her scholarship addresses critical areas such as treatment relapse, functional assessment methodology, measurement systems, and systematic evaluations of widely implemented behavior-analytic interventions.
