Hadeel Elder, Ph.D., holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Chemistry from the University of Michigan and earned her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Education and Supervision respectively from Adler University in Chicago. Her research focuses on the cultural and mental health aspects of Middle Eastern women, multiculturalism, and Islamic counseling. Dr. Elder specializes in perinatal mood disorders and plays a key role in Program Site Development at Hunter College.
