2019-2020 Gray Fellow
Keisha Warner is a native Bronxite whose passion for education gained momentum in her senior year of her undergraduate studies. Soon after, she was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows Program, which launched her career as an English teacher. Early into her tenure, Ms. Warner developed a love for curriculum design. It was this interest that opened the door to staff development and coaching that led her to pursue school leadership. She started her administrative career at The Cinema School in the fall of 2010.
In April 2017, Ms. Warner became a certified yoga instructor through Breathe for Change which is a training designed specifically for educators. She incorporates Wellness into her daily work routine and has aspirations to implement mindfulness initiatives within her school community. When not at The Cinema School, she spends quality time with her husband John and their son Robin.
