Background

Donna Bonanno has served as an educator in the New York City Department of Education since September 1999. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, Assistant Principal, and for the past six years as the Principal of P.S. 60. Donna has a commitment to ensure all children have access to high quality education. She recognizes that each child is an individual and respects their individual needs, making learning accessible to all. She believes that a student’s academic success is fostered by positive relationships with peers, staff and parents. Donna received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Hunter College.
