Background

Miluska Manrique is an educator, a student and a mom. She is in her fourth year of the EdD program. Miluska has vast experience in adult TESOL, including program administration, curriculum design, and professional development across community-based organizations, private and public non-profits, and higher education institutions. She has designed and overseen programs that address the unique needs of adult linguistic minority learners and their communities. Her experience includes creating and implementing culturally sustainable curricula for the CUNY Language Immersion Program (CLIP), developing family literacy programs for immigrant parents, and leading professional learning initiatives for diverse teams. Miluska is passionate about education as a tool for social change and is dedicated to fostering equitable opportunities for all learners.
