Suleika Dotel

Suleika Dotel is the principal of the School for Math, Science and Technology through Art (MSTA), a Kennedy Center Turnaround Arts School. Growing up in both the Bronx and the Dominican Republic she is a product of the New York City Public School System (shout out to PS 98, IS 52, Mott Hall School and Kennedy HS) and is deeply committed to ensuring that students have a voice in all aspects of their educational journey. Suleika has over 15 years of experience in education and began her career as an English as a Second Language teacher in the Bronx.

She has a Masters degree from Milano: School for Policy, Management and Environment in Urban Policy Analysis and Management, a Master degree in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages from Herbert H. Lehman (CUNY) in addition to a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Bernard Baruch College.
