Dr. Beth Brady Shares Study at the Deafblind International (DbI) Conference in Australia.
In August, Dr. Beth Brady attended the week-long 17th Deafblind International World Conference in Gold Coast, Australia and presented her research study titled, “Augmented Input and the Classroom Communication Environment for Learners with Deafblindness.” The conference provided the opportunity to network with research professionals, service providers, and over 70 individuals who identified as deafblind from around the world and used a wide variety of communication systems, including Pro-Tactile sign, American Sign Language, Auslan (Australian Sign Language), and refreshable braille technology.
