Students and Alumni Attend the 38th Annual International Precision Teaching Conference (IPTC)

This year, Hunter College Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) students and alumni attended the 38th Annual International Precision Teaching Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Student presenters and attendees included Alondra Navarez, Milina Petrovskaya, Caroline Winch, Isamar Luna, and Derek Order. Students presented various aspects of their research to well-attended sessions, engaged with the larger behavior analysis community, volunteered their time, and learned from other professionals from around the country. The presenting students received funding from the Presidential Engagement Fund at Hunter College and were awarded conference scholarships for their high-quality presentation submissions.

Alondra Navarez presented a poster based on her graduate thesis work on Discrete Trial Instruction. Milina Petrovskaya presented her thesis data on Interspecies Communication. Caroline and Derek shared their summer project work on the Accuracy Detection Rates of data collection for Behavior Technicians. All of their work was well received.

Additionally, Jackie Kopyt, Sam Patrick, and Demi Fragale shared their work and time as alumni. These alumni demonstrated the values they learned while at Hunter College. Faculty included Doctoral Lecturer Salvador Ruiz, Adjunct Assistant Professor Viviana Gonzalez, and Adjunct Assistant Professor Elle Kirsten. Current students, alumni, and faculty did an excellent job of representing CUNY and Hunter College.
