Shane Noel Welcomed as Inaugural Career, Professional and Partnership Development (CPPD) Fellow
Shane Noel joins the School of Education as the inaugural Career, Professional and Partnership Development (CPPD) Fellow for the 2025 to 2026 school year.
Shane is a Brooklyn native and Brooklyn Tech alum who graduated summa cum laude from Howard University in May 2025. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in philosophy, served as vice president of Howard’s Psychology Organization, and made the Dean’s List throughout his academic career. He is currently pursuing a master’s in mental health counseling with the School of Education at Hunter
College and plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology once he finishes the program.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Shane has worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist and is bilingual in Spanish, demonstrating a deep commitment to community service. With Career, Professional and Partnership Development (CPPD), Shane will:
- Meet with School of Education students individually and in
small groups, - Serve as a liaison to Hunter College Career Services
- Help us maintain the Career Literacy Classroom and expand the impact of our work, particularly with counseling students, while also supporting the broader Hunter College School of Education community.
