Chancellor Carranza Visits Gray Fellow Roshone Ault Lee’s Classroom

On February 25th, 2021, New York City Department of Edcuation (NYC DOE) Chancellor Carranza visited Gray Fellow Roshone Ault Lee‘s South Bronx Academy for Applied Media (SBAAM). The purpose of the visit was to participate in a roundtable discussion with SBAAM scholars. As per his interview, Chancellor Carranza found student leaders who showcased the spirit of SBAAM. Students used their creative and critical thinking skills to share their perspectives on culturally relevant experiences using illustrious yet, data-driven storytelling. All of this is a testament to Principal Roshone Ault Lee and her staff’s ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students are challenged with a practical and rigorous curriculum.
