P.S. 183 – located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan – is seeking qualified candidates for Teaching Assistant positions in grades K to 2. This is an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to gain valuable classroom experience while they complete their education degree or before seeking a full-time teaching position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching Literacy and Math small groups
• conducting Literacy and Math assessments to understand student growth
• attend professional development training
• support students at lunch and recess
