Minimum Requirements/ Responsibilities

Supervisor of Social Students Grades 6-12

  • Exceptional understanding of Curriculum and Instruction
  • Familiar with AP Capstone and Project Based Learning
  • Ability to act in a leadership position, conduct staff observations using Danielson, and mentor staff
  • Proficient in 6-12 Social Studies content
  • Utilizes data to make educational/curriculum decisions
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • NYS SBL certification, and Social Studies certification
  • 10-month work year plus 10 days during July/August

Salary

Regionally competitive in accordance with the Baldwin Supervisors bargaining agreement.
