Sylvan Learning Center in North East Bronx is  looking for dedicated teachers to inspire and help students achieve academic excellence. We are only of the only tutoring centers in this area of the Bronx and we are founded by former New York City educators!

Sylvan Learning Center is looking for teachers who can inspire and motivate children to develop their confidence and skills. This is the perfect job for undergraduate students looking for experience and to financially support their studies. Sylvan provides all of the lesson plans and materials that you will need to work with your students, and there is no outside prep work required. Just come in and do what you love most, teach!

Qualifications

• High School Math tutors should have a strong foundation in Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. Middle school math instruction focuses on building the foundation skills required to be successful in these more advanced courses.

Compensation

• $20 to $25 per hour commensurate on experience and subjects taught. Room to grow.

• Current available positions are on-site in the NorthEast Bronx. Some remote positions might be opening up in the summer. Please send your resume.
