New Dawn Charter Schools, located in Brooklyn, is seeking a High School Counselor. New Dawn provides over-aged and under-credited students 15 to 21 years of age, including those who are English Language Learners and those with special needs, the opportunity to return to school and obtain a high school diploma through a rigorous New york State Education Department (NYSED) standards-based education program.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Counseling Services
• School Counseling Certification (Preferred)
• Student Counselors are expected to apply their professional training in schools in order to support student success.
