Buckle My Shoe Preschool is looking for a warm, loving, highly organized, creative, innovative, hard working leader who is passionate about Early Childhood Education and a right fit for our environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with parents (someone who is comfortable speaking with parents, writing a daily blog, taking photos of children at work and documenting their experiences, ability to upload photos for parents to view, slideshows of children’s experiences).
• Teachers will create a portfolio for each child with written documentation of the higher level thinking taking place in the moment, with dialogue and analysis.
• Design lesson plans with age appropriate materials and interests in mind. Our school follows the children’s interests through project work.

Required Experience

• Masters degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education)
• Two years of experience in the classroom
• New York State Certification preferred
