School in the Square (S2) is a fast-growing charter school currently serving elementary and middle school students, with plans to serve families from Pre K through 12 with the opening of a high school with 9th grade in Fall, 2023.

We are looking for a dedicated, mission aligned Bilingual School Counselor who both loves and respects our children.

Responsibilities

Reporting to our Principal and in collaboration with a diverse and committed School Leadership Team (SLT), you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents and other stakeholders to implement a quality intervention program that is research-based and differentiated for student needs while also focusing on the social-emotional needs of all students.

The School Counselor will ensure services on students’ IEPs are provided with fidelity, participate in CSE meetings and work collaboratively with families. The School Counselor will create and implement plans for small group and individual sessions as well as develop tools to support our young learners in acquiring the necessary social and emotional skills.
