Apply for our part-time instructor positions teaching our weekly after-school classes in the fall, winter and spring (2 to 4 hours per week), and/or our summer camps in the summer.

Our programs promote 21st century skills (entrepreneurship, leadership, basic financial education, debate, etc.) at local schools throughout the city and Brooklyn, including many upper east side locations near Hunter.

You can choose one or more categories from our three age groups: grades K through 2, 3 through 5 or 6 through 8.

As a SPARK instructor, you receive training, easy-to-follow teaching guides and materials, so teaching our programs is easy if you love working with kids!

Pay

Competitive pay starts at $80 per hourly class including base pay and performance-based bonus.

Skills

• Dependability and punctuality a must
• Strong classroom management skills highly desirable
• Experience and/or interest working with young students (grades K through 2, 3 through 5 or 6 through 8) as teacher, tutor, camp counselor, coach, etc.
• Ability to interact with and inspire students
• Fun and engaging personality to establish rapport with students
• Professionalism
• Interest in business and entrepreneurship a plus, but not required
