Self Advocacy Project Presentations

Hunter graduate students have worked with adolescent students with disabilities in our yearlong tutoring through Hunter College Learning Lab. In addition to academics, these tutoring pairs facilitate self-confidence, self-advocacy, and many more skills and qualities. The Self Advocacy Project is the presentation of what our adolescent students made as a resource for future teachers which can include, information about how their disability shows up in them, their strengths and interests, and their needs and challenges in the classroom.
