Part 2: The Role of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in Developing Literacy Skills with Dr. Maurice Elias

The Collaborative for Social Emotional Learning and Leading (C-SELL) would like to invite you to our two part series this January!

Part 2 is a lecture with Dr. Maurice Elias, Director, Rutgers Social-Emotional and Character Development Lab and Professor of Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. Elias will discuss the crucial role of social and emotional learning (SEL) in developing reading skills among students. Dr. Elias will further discuss social and emotional learning (SEL) competencies integral to effective reading, and provide practical strategies for strengthening social and emotional learning (SEL) skills in reading.

The lecture will run for about 1 hour with a Question and Answer (Q&A) following.
