Invest in Your Success – Learn How to Increase Intrinsic Motivation in Your Students

This session features Dr. Gina Riley, Clinical Professor of Adolescent Special Education at the Hunter College School of Education.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to increase the three significant psychological needs that must be present in an individual to foster self-motivation (competence, autonomy, and relatedness) in their own students, thereby enhancing feelings of intrinsic motivation and self-determination.

Attendees currently working with the New York City Department Of Education (NYCDOE) are eligible to receive Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit for full participation.
