Info Session for Spring Break Service Learning Course in Puerto Rico

The Hunter College School of Education, the Hunter College Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños, and the Puerto Rico TESOL Association are partnering to offer an amazing learning opportunity in Puerto Rico during the spring break of 2019: April 21-27, 2019
- Earn 30 NYSED CTLE hours in English language learner professional development
- Visit public schools, engage with Puerto Rican teachers and faculty and learn about teaching English and bilingual education
- Participate in service to communities hit by Hurricane Maria
- Globalize your vision, witness the interaction of history, policy, and education in the context of PR, and connect with other passionate and committed educators
- Open to all educators
Total estimated costs (including airfare, hotel, transportation, insurance, meals, cultural excursions, and tuition) is $2200.
