Faculty and Staff Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Fellowship Information Session

Join us for an information session about the Faculty and Staff Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Fellowship, a unique opportunity for educators and staff to engage in a collaborative, reflective learning experience. This fellowship is designed to support professional growth by equipping participants with strategies to foster a sense of belonging within the School of Education community.

Up to nine fellows will be selected for the program, which runs from June 2025 to May 2026. Fellows will receive a stipend and take part in the following key activities:
- Funded Retreats: A four-day retreat in the Berkshires (June 10–12, 2025) and a one-day retreat at Hunter College in January 2026.
- Cohort Meetings: Engaging Zoom sessions with guest speakers in July 2025.
- Curricular Development: Fellows will revise at least one course syllabus, training materials, or other educational resources.
- Ongoing Connection: Three intimate Zoom gatherings per semester (fall and spring) to continue efforts around fostering a culture of belonging.
