Equity and Advocacy: Community Connections and Equity Eats

Wed, Dec 6 2023 11:30am-1:00pm

Community Connections, sponsored by the Equity and Advocacy Committee, are gatherings open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Share in our collective efforts to build equity through events, recruitment and retention, and research.

The first 30-minutes will be devoted to building community and getting to know each other through potlucks and informal conversations. In the next hour, we will be holding our Equity Eats where we will discuss Pivots 2 and 3 (from transactional to transformative and from problem to possibility) of The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves by Dr. Shawn Ginwright.

These gatherings are offered as hyflex with participants encouraged to join online or in-person in the Community Room W1007.
