East Harlem Teaching Residency Information Session

Thu, Oct 28 2021 4:00pm-5:00pm

“Want to teach while earning your degree? Join a program that develops, supports, and certifies aspiring educators?

Please join staff from the East Harlem Teaching Residency (EHTR) for an overview of the Master’s program. In partnership with the East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), the Hunter College School of Education offers a 2-year paid elementary inclusive learning teaching residency for aspiring educators to become highly effective special educators in grades 1-6. We prepare our Residents to become inspirational, anti-racist teachers in East Harlem. The application for the next cohort, starting summer 2022, is now open – apply today!

Prior to attending the session, we invite you to review information about the Residency on the East Harlem Teaching Residency website. You can also learn more about the Master’s program on the School of Education’s East Harlem Teaching Residency page.

This session is open to the public and will be held online via Zoom.

We encourage all interested applicants to join us and learn more! Please email Alex Hamel at ahamel@ehtp.org for Zoom details.
