Certification Info Session – Teacher Education Programs

Please join certification advisors from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) for an info session on applying  for certification in New York State. This session will be generalized for all teacher candidates with a focus on students who have recently completed or will soon be completing their programs. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of when you plan to graduate or apply for certification.

In this session, we will break down some common certification terminology, cover requirements for certification, review certification costs and show you how to apply for certification on the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) TEACH platform.

Prior to attending the session, please review the certification information for your program on your School of Education program page. Select your program from the list under either undergraduate or graduate programs.

This session will be held online via Zoom.
