Certification Workshop – Adolescent Education and Adolescent Special Education

Please join certification advisors from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) for a workshop that will cover all you need to know to apply for certification in New York State.

This workshop will specifically address certification for our Undergraduate and Graduate Adolescent Education, including Adolescent Special Education programs.

In this workshop, we will break down some common certification terminology, cover requirements for certification, review certification costs and show you how to apply for certification on the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) TEACH platform.

Prior to attending the session, please review the certification information for your program on the School of Education’s certification and licensure page. Select your program from the list under either undergraduate or graduate programs.

This workshop is not intended for students in Transitional B/alternative certification/partnership programs.
