The School of Education Office of Academic and Student Affairs is kicking off our #Adulting Series with a provocative and transformational workshop, “Hacking the Fear of Public Speaking”. This workshop will be offered on November 18th and December 2nd:

  • Session 1: November 18th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
  • Session 2: December 2nd from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Presenter Eduardo Placer, Founder of Fearless Communications draws the distinction between Presensation Skills (tm) and Presentation Skills. PRESENTATION is his unique approach which gives speakers the tools to bring their whole body, mind, heart and spirit to a moment and communicate their message in service of their audience.

As a global facilitator, Eduardo has led workshops and spoken with groups at HBO, Google, Bank of America – Merrill Lynch, Yale, The Juilliard School, and the Wharton School of Business. Private clients include industry leaders, CEO’s of start up companies, UN diplomats and social activists. Prior to focusing all his energy on Fearless Communicators, he was a professional actor for 15 years, working throughout the US in over 38 plays and musicals.

Eduardo serves on the Board of The Out Foundation and The Cuban American Alliance for Leadership and Education. He is also an avid CrossFitter, and like most avid CrossFitters will talk about CrossFit any time he’s asked.
