All graduate students must apply for graduation via their CUNYfirst account.

When do I apply?

The application period opens the semester before the semester of your planned graduation.

Planned Fall/Winter Graduation

June 16 – October 15

Planned Spring Graduation

October 16 – February 15

Planned Summer Graduation

February 16 – June 15

Understanding Your Graduation Audit Results

Your degree audit results are a list of outstanding exit requirements that must be completed on time in order to graduate.

Your degree audit results will be emailed to your myHUNTER email address from Degree Audit Division by the last month of the semester.

You are also encouraged to complete the Graduation Checklist for your program and to meet with the School of Education Graduation Advisor to review your progress.

Completing Outstanding Requirements

You must complete any outstanding requirements by the following dates:

Planned Spring Graduation

May 18, 2018

Planned Summer Graduation

August 10, 2018

Planned Fall /Winter Graduation

December 20, 2018

Cancelling your Graduation Application

If you need to adjust your graduation term after applying, you must email Degree Audit Division at degree.audit@hunter.cuny.edu.
