  • BILED 78200 – Student Teaching in Grades 1-6 (KC), 4 credits

  • BILED 78300 – Supervised Teaching (1-6) (KC), 4 credits

Academic and Professional Milestones

  • Students will complete a Hunter Teacher Performance Assessment (HTPA) in their student teaching seminar as a requirement for program completion.
  • Students must take and pass Bilingual Education Assessments (BEA) Exam prior to graduation. Visit the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations website for more information.
  • Students apply for certification after degree has been conferred. You will receive an email once Hunter’s recommendation has been entered on your TEACH Account with the steps to apply. Refer to the Certification and Licensure page for more information.
