Applied Behavior Analysis (MS) Three-Year Course Sequence for Students Matriculated Before Spring 2021

Academic Plan: APBEH-MS

This is a suggested three-year 4th edition Verified Course Sequence (VCS) for students matriculated before Spring 2021. Students take 6-9 credits per semester. Students must meet with their faculty advisor before registering for classes.

Please note, the Applied Behavior Analysis programs at Hunter College will begin phasing out our current 4th edition course offerings in the Fall of 2020.

Hunter currently offers a 4th edition Verified Course Sequence (VCS) for those planning to become BCBAs. 4th edition students must complete all coursework, degree, and supervision requirements AND receive Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) approval to take the exam prior to December 2021. If this is not possible, three additional 5th edition courses will be required.

Students who have completed coursework during or prior to the 3rd edition must finish the 4th edition course sequence, degree, and supervision requirements AND receive BACB approval to take the exam prior to December 2021. If this is not possible, students will be required to start over in our 5th edition Verified Course Sequence.

Please note the last semester when each course will be offered in the 4th edition sequence.
