Mi Sun Park
Doctoral Student
Mi Sun Park is a high school mathematics teacher in the New York City Department of Education with 12 years of experience. She has taught a full range of high school mathematics courses, including Algebra 1, AP Calculus, and IB Math SL. She has also taught various electives such as Financial Algebra, Geometry in the Arts, CUNY Link, and Algebra 1 using TI-Nspire technology.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as her school’s programmer and data lead. School programming and scheduling have become one of her professional passions. She believes that these structural elements, often overlooked, can have a meaningful impact on students’ learning environments, school culture, and the overall vision of the school.
