Applied Behavior Analysis Students and Faculty Showcase Research at 2024 Conference
Eight graduate students, one alumnus, and three faculty from the MS in Applied Behavior Analysis program at Hunter College attended the 2024 International Precision Teaching Conference this year in New Mexico. Students included Jackie Kopyt, Isamar Luna, Emily Palmer, John Clancy, Eleni Katechis, Sam Patrick, Caroline Winch, and Milina Petrovskaya. With the help of the Hunter College Student Travel Fund, six of them presented research including two posters (Jackie Kopyt and Ismar Luna) and three presentations (Emily Palmer, Eleni Katechis, Sam Patrick).
In addition to their research presentations, two students volunteer their time within the Standard Celeration Society which is the hosting organization. These students are Sam Patrick serving as the Executive Assistant to the Director and Milina Petrovskaya who serves as a member of the Advisory Council. Faculty research includes an invited presentation by adjunct assistant professor Dr. Elle Kirsten and, a presentation by Dr. Sal Ruiz and Hunter alumni Demi Fragale as well as a poster by adjunct lecturer Viviana Gonzalez.
Students attended networking events, paper sessions, and symposia related to their research topics of interest. Hunter College was well received and represented by an exemplary group of graduate students.
